Gunlock Reservoir Overflow- Red Rock Waterfall

I love waterfalls and in Southern Utah we have many waterfalls that only run occasionally.  It is a desert!

Just south of the Gunlock Reservoir is an overflow where excess water flows over redrocks into deep pools.  Some adventurous fools cliff jump over 80 feet into water.

Tuesday June 28, 2011 Jared and I stopped by the Red Rock-GunLock Waterfall after cleaning windows in Pine Valley.  Jared did do a little cliff jumping but he only jumped about 10 or 15 feet.  He had nothing to proof and besides I was supervising!

Here are a few pictures of the waterfall.

It’s amazing and it rarely happens. We got a lot of water this year and all the locals are loving this new recreation site!
